The Shamrock Symbol
The Shamrock is the unofficial National flower of Ireland. There is some confusion as to what the symbol represents. Some believe it is associated with good luck and if it is a four-leave clover it is thought to be especially lucky.
Others believe it represents the 3 divisions of the soul – mind, body and spirit. And to add to the confusion others believe it represents the 3 realms we inhabit. – land , sea and sky. Whatever it maybe it is regarded as perhaps the most popular among Irish Celtic symbols.
